Design Process
I approach each design differently as your vision and current space are unique, your garden will be tailored to suit your individual style, and how you plan to use the space.
Designing your dream garden is an exciting process. We work together on your design wish list, garden-style and most importantly the functionality of the space.
Every aspect of the garden is considered including where the best seat will be for your morning coffee, the spot that catches the best afternoon sun, and where your family will play on the lawn.
Once we have worked out all the details of the garden, I start to take all those ideas and combine them into a design that maximises the use of the space, reflects your style and vision, and complements its surroundings.
Through a streamlined design process, which I will walk you through during our consultation, when I work on your design you are given the opportunity to provide feedback or make changes along the way, so when you are presented with your final design it is exactly how you imagined.
Consultation
Your personalised garden design begins with an onsite consultation ($250 plus GST) where we discuss the scope of the project, budget for your design, and assess the existing conditions.
After our initial meeting, I will send through a written summary of your project along with a fee proposal for the concept design.
Design Concept
The concept design is a 2D scaled drawing showing all the hardscape details and layout of the site, along with a mood board to support the concept. For more detailed plans further drawings can be produced showing materials and finish schedule, specific plans for lighting, styling and planting plans and schedule. Additionally, 3D renders and a virtual fly-through of the design are another option to give a real sense of how the finished garden will look.
Concept plans start from $3000+gst
Garden Build
I work with trusted landscape builders whom I can refer to build your garden, or you can use the plans and appoint a contractor of your own.
Site inspections can be arranged where I can visit the site weekly or as needed to ensure the design is being built as per the drawings and take any additional stress away from you.
Exterior Styling
Need help styling? I can complete the styling to your outdoor space, so all that's left for you to do is relax and enjoy your beautiful new entertaining area!
Together we work out what furniture you require which will complement your style, then I will provide you with an itemised quote. I will then source your furniture and have it set up ready for you to sit down and enjoy! This service can also be tailored to a sale property to show your properties full potential and catch a buyers eye!
